Wireframing

A fast and efficient method of designing concepts.

Blueprint

My wireframes provide a firm understanding of how my design and layout will accomplish a particular objective or purpose. They start on paper and are easily scrapped or edited. I've had great success with stakeholders and engineers since they can clearly see the blueprint and functionality of these wireframes.

Sports App

The original design had missed the mark for the audience and the platform. I was tasked with doing an incremental design overhaul as well as designing new features leading up to the roll out. After setting up several user tests with key audience targets I confirmed that the majority of our audience holds their mobile device with one hand making a top navigation cumbersome to use. Using this as my guide I redesigned the UI and UX from a monocromatic landscape view that targets tech folks to a energetic interface in portrait view with larger buttons and more concise navigation.

Matching Game

I created several compulsion loop wireframes that laid out two design approaches. The wireframes provided a strong view into the user experience and compulsion loops so that it could be determined which would meet our business goals for the game.

Hidden Object Game

I used the wireframe concept to develop quest chain mission boards in the successful hit hidden object game, Flux Family Secrets. This was tremendously helpful in determinging bottlenecks and disconnects in user flows. When dealing with a large project with over 100 total screens and navigation paths spanning over 15 screens it's important to be able to visualize how they link together and have the ability to quickly make changes before going to final renders.
